Having more
than 17 years of pageant experience, never have I
experienced a pageant like this! It was so well
organized, supportive staff, great activities, and SO MUCH
FUN! Right from to moment I arrived at registration
I could tell that this pageant was well run, coordinated,
and there is no doubt why it has been running for over 30
years!! It is an honor and blessing to hold the title and
had I not won on my first try, I would have been back next
year for sure! |

Eight
years ago I remember sitting with the audience when my
daughter Angela was crowned Miss Teen of the Nation 1999.
Now in 2008 I was so blessed to be on stage being crowned
the new Ms. Classic American Woman as my daughter watched
from the audience. The memories we have gained from being
in Marmas Production pageants are everlasting. I turned 51
this year and being involved with pageants has helped me
to grow stronger physically and emotionally. |
I look forward to being a role model for women my age. I have
gained many new friends in competing in pageants. I am
blessed being surrounded by my friends and family who
support me in everything I do. I want to thank John Marmas for bringing a wonderful pageant system to us all.
What a wonderful weekend we had in Vegas that
was full of fun and
excitement. I have a motto that I live by, Sometimes
in life we regret the things we don’t do more than the
things we do. If you have a dream just try because
what you gain from trying is so wonderful.

I
t
is often said that the greatest good that you can do for
another is not just to share your riches but to reveal to
them their own. That is what I gained through years
of competing in various age divisions of Marmas
Productions. I experienced self-discovery, self
confidence and community service experiences that have
helped my in my personal, professional and
philanthropic aspects of my life. |
I had the honor of holding the
title of Miss Teen of the Nation and Ms. American Woman,
and the privilege of gaining the friendship of Mr. John Marmas. In fact, I won the title of Ms. American
Woman the weekend before I was married! I applaud Marmas
Productions for creating a pageant system that allows and
empowers women to compete throughout various phases of the
journey of womanhood. I will continue to recommend
and encourage any woman to compete in this credible, fair,
elegant and honorable pageant system. Not only will
you grow as a person through the spirit of competition and
the amazing women that you will meet, but you will gain
the friendship of an incredible person, Mr. John Marmas.

Being
Ms. American Woman - 2000, was beyond my expectations. A
spectrum of opportunities opened to me that were
unlimited. My modeling career flourished with offers
to do TV commercials, print ads, and runway. I was
featured on pageant websites,
magazines, newspapers, and was asked to judge many state &
national pageants.
|
I also
became a spokesperson for many charitable events to help
raise funds. The pageant has truly been a positive
experience with fond memories and lasting friendships.
Thank you
Marmas Productions for producing a unique pageant system
that offers women of all ages the opportunity to express
their individuality, beauty, poise, and confidence, and to
become a role model in their communities.

Marmas
Productions provided me with an experience I will never
forget! From the organized staff to the detailed, exciting
agenda everything was near perfection. After winning the
title of Ms. American Woman, John Marmas was supportive in
all of my endeavors and to this day, someone I consider a
friend. The wonderful experience began my adventure with
pageantry and still ranks number one when considering
my past Teen, Miss, and Mrs. experiences. You can only win
with this fine group of individuals!!

My name is Sharon Dawn Uehara,
and I am your Ms. American Woman 2006-07. In order
to call myself such, I competed with Marmas
Productions for this title for six years. With hard
work and constant support from those who care about
me, my dream finally became a reality. Marmas
Productions has a program for women of all ages,
from 9-90 and beyond. They truly are a strong
foundation for women looking to either hold a
National Title, or simply get their “pageantry” feet
wet and make new friends. |
The greatest feature about this
system is that you are very capable of doing all three. I
have made many new friends, had loads of fun, got my feet
wet many times over, and held a National Title. The Marmas
Productions staff is a complete package filled with men
and women who have worked in pageantry from many different
aspects. The staff is diligent in ensuring that every
single contestant knows exactly what is expected of them,
and they are willing and ready to see that you are
prepared to shine. They have all come together to give
women this unique opportunity, one that I highly recommend
to every woman out there.
As Ms. American Woman 2006-07, I was able to experience a
great deal of personal triumph and accomplishment. I was
also able to achieve many things for others, such as
volunteering for M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drinking and
Driving) as a public speaker, working with local Hospice
organizations, and raising money for Cure Autism Now and
The St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitals. These things were not
made possible merely by wearing a crown on my head; they
were honors bestowed upon me because I had endeavored
towards my own personal best. My journey was incredible,
and I am still taking more and more steps to increase the
quality of my path. Lao Tzu once said, “The journey of a
thousand miles begins with one step.” Enter a Marmas
Production pageant today, and take your first step in your
own incredible journey.

By far this is
one of the most fun national pageants I have participated
in. It is so well organized, timely, the contestants
are extremely well fed, there is ample time to prepare for
each aspect of competition, and stress free choreography.
All of these great qualities, combined with plenty of time
to visit with family and friends, makes this my number one
recommendation for a “must do” pageant.

Beauty pageants really build up
your self-esteem and cause you to use inner strength you
may never know you have! I'd strongly recommend a
John Marmas production to anyone I know.
